Smink is ISO 9001 (quality standard) certified and VCA** (SCC) certified (safety standard) and we work in accordance with the guidelines of the OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard.

The requirements of these standards have been processed in our Quality Management System (QMS) that focuses on the three main processes (Primary, Management and Support). Health, safety and the environment are an essential part of this policy.

Our processes focus on zero defects, preventing waste and continuous improvement. Execution is in hands of certified employees using CE-certified tools. The goal of this is to safeguard customer satisfaction, to optimise functionality and to save on costs.

Before we accept an order, it is thoroughly assessed through a checklist with regard to various areas such as feasibility, capacity and risk analysis (failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) method).

We are critical about our suppliers. All observed deviations at customers, suppliers or internally are recorded in our deviations system. The deviation will be assessed to determine if it is critical or not. Immediately, a decision will be taken about whether (preventive) action will follow and the cause will be investigated. This process will be followed by the Quality Manager and will be reported to the MT on a monthly basis.
